Here are the results of the poll.

The question was ...

> If you are a Microsoft compiler user, and you feel that Microsoft should
> provide at least _some_ official support on the Internet, please send me
> a SHORT email message to "MSCYES@trmphrst.demon.co.uk".
>
> If you hold the opposing view, send to "MSCNO@trmphrst.demon.co.uk".

After removing the 8 duplicate yes votes,

Yes : 283
No : 7

A number of people, some of them in Microsoft, have asked me for a copy of
the recorded votes. As many of these contain useful comments which I think
would help to persuade Microsoft to start support on the Internet, I
intend to send the complete file to them. If anyone has any reason they do
NOT want their vote forwarded, please mail me within the next week.

Please do NOT send any more votes, they will not be counted. You would do
better to mail Microsoft directly at "microsoft.com".

Obviously I cannot suggest who to mail at Microsoft (any volunteers ?).

I am sure Bill Gates is too busy :-)
